As the Founder and Partner at Absolvo Consulting, Lenard brings over 20 years of experience in venture capital, private equity and M&A transactions, with a strong focus on Central Eastern European (CEE) scaleups in technology & innovation-driven industries. His expertise includes closed deals with exceptional firms such as Starschema, Balabit, Shoprenter, HelloPay, Parkl, Prefixbox, Continest, Logiscool or PingPong UX.
He is a former board member of the Hungarian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (HVCA) and a founding member of the Hungarian Business Angels Network (HunBAN). He is an experienced speaker at regional events, facilitator of workshops across Europe, lecturer at various European business and technology universities on topics including venture capital, private equity activities, business strategy and entrepreneurship, and regularly invited to share insights on online financial journals, like Portfolio. Considers himself more of an agile entrepreneur than a consultant. He studied Economics at Corvinus University of Budapest and has since enriched his academic portfolio with certifications from MIT, Wharton and Columbia Business School.
