Timmy Ghiurau is the co-founder of MidBrain, where he’s building the memory and continual learning layer for AI agents. His work sits at the intersection of artificial intelligence, simulation, and human behavior—focused on how systems evolve over time, not just how they respond in the moment.
With over 15 years of experience spanning Unity, Volvo Cars, and early eye-tracking research at The Eye Tribe (later acquired by Meta), Timmy has innovation at Volvo cars, and autonomous systems. He is also an active angel investor, including involvement with EQT Ventures, supporting the next generation of frontier technology startups.
Today, he focuses on designing emotionally intelligent, embodied agents that learn from experience, shifting AI from stateless tools to adaptive, long-term collaborators. Investing and building the innovation and startup ecosystem in north and east europe. A futurist, working with EU commission, culture, art and science scene.
